Just seen on news that Britain has a contender for undisputed heavyweight champion of the world tonight and I have to say it was the first time I’d heard of Daniel Dubois.

That was back in the good old days of one heavyweight world champion. Now it's a circus. Think there are four belts at the moment. But there might be another one next month.😉
 
I think it’s because Usyk winning is a foregone conclusion.

Anyway, just got this on PPV with DAZN, which was included in a yearly sub at £15 pcm, It helps that DAZN currently has Muay Thai and Serie A next season.

It's because Usyk isn't a knob head and, sadly, for Dubois who hasn't a great deal of charisma. Joshua went down the grandma's favourite route, 'isn't he lovely, he's so good to his ma' etc, so that avenue is lost (only game in town now for fury and Joshua is one another but it's getting late!).
Also that Usyk is Ukrainian and quite a lot of the audience want to tune out from that never ending reality.
Throw in that boxing isn't as visible as it once was, there's a load of joke stuff like jake paul and eddie hall and 60 year old former champs out for a pay day, then the saudi dubai zero atmosphere shows and the creep of mma, and it seems no one is all that arsed.

The sterility that has become the normal in football has similarly been applied to other sports, and boxing is a victim, this sport now couldn't produce an Ali or a four kings era. Clean living, say nothing, would you like to supersize that pepsi cola? staid, boring, bland consumerism.
