The old Goodison Road Stand on Goodison road name after a Yorkshire architect Goodison who drew the drainage plans for the road & ground when built so the road was named after him - he moved around all over the country becoming a JP - little did he know a fantastic stadia of its day would be named after him on his drainage designs in its premature era as they named the road after him .... -
