Just had to squash a spider the size of my hand since living on Merseyside.

Came running at me the hairy f'er

Anyone else had anything like this recently?

Yeah. There's been a few whoppers in our garden. Lots of bees and butterflies too. Must be something to do with the climate.

Luckily I'm not arsed about spiders as I'm a complete wimp with everything else.

I've noticed the increase in butterflies but this thing ran towards me when I went to grab my phone.

Made a tapping noise on my 7 month olds mat and a crunch when I smashed it.

I never kill spiders.

We’ve got a whopper that lives in the kitchen, that I feed flies to.

My missus has no idea that it’s there or I’ve turned it into an evil pet
