On a serious note I wonder if he just thought better of it or if the club have blown him up.
Can imagine they wouldn’t take too kindly to filming a training session, even if it is only pre season.

I was going to post a similar reply. Whilst I would like for us to build a hotel near the ground, this is not quite what I envisaged. The valuation for that plot of land will have skyrocketed over the past few years, but it is still a slender patch of land. On the other hand, a small hotel may make some sense since the Titanic Hotel is already over the road from the stadium and that will probably satisfy much of the demand.

I can envisage the previous ownership had plans for that, but then we know what happened to our Uzbeki overlord.

Could have done what city did to their Etihad campus.

Gone and done. I'm sure our new American capitalist overlords have plans.

What do you think he thinks of it? He's an angry pensioner with a bad chip on his shoulder over another 'droner' . Its embarrassing the way its always the same people ( fully grown men btw ) jumping on everything another man does because they want recognition from their favourite drone flyer

The only one I’m aware of.

I think he was unfairly shafted last time. You see loads of footage on YouTube where the drone is clearly well out of visual range for the operator. Mostly, that’s no big deal, even if it’s not allowed.

Hopefully this time was just him complying with a polite request from the club to take it down.

I find the guy pretty endearing, and like the other droners he’s done a fantastic job of keeping us posted on the build. Wouldn’t wish him any ill will at all.
