Favourite 3 and worst 3 transfers you can remember.

Transfers that at the time excited me:
Kanchelskis, Lukaku, James.

Sadly only one of them was a roaring success as the other two left us far too quickly.

Three worst outgoing transfers in terms of how gutted I was at the time:
Pienaar, Rodwell, Richarlison.

Thankfully we were able to pick Pienaar back again, and the other two basically fell apart as soon as they left Everton, so it worked out for the best.

Three worst incoming transfers that at the time in no way excited me:
Maupay, McGeady, Westerveld - imagine signing a kin ex-Liverpool goalkeeper ffs, absolute desperation on that.

I'll go with 3 signings as just the feelings of them as signings not how they turned out. (Cahill and Baines didn't make anyone amazingly excited as signings, so I'll exclude them.)
Kanchelskis (actual shock)
Lukaku (crazy we spent money and bought an actual striker)
Probably getting Beardsley from that lot when he was far from finsihed

Worst feelings from signings
Samways (Cup winners and on the up?)
Keane (30 mill for a Burnley CB)
Rooney return felt like stagnation when we should have been building for the future, tried to be upbeat about it but truly was never a good move.

Favourite: Andrei Kanchelskis, Kevin Campbell, James Rodriguez

Least Favourite: Rondon, Patterson, Maupay. Maupay, people said we didn't play to his strengths but he was incapable of controlling a 5 yard pass to him and rarely looked like even troubling the keeper. Genuinely one of the worst players I've ever watched at Goodison.

Rod Belfitt been mentioned & Bernie Wright, took some beating & Iain Wilson been mentioned - mine was James Beattie £8 million when Dean Ashton was down the road at Crewe for just one million ..... an Everton that moment - Beattie went a full season on scoring one pen .....
Chebes & Vaughn were miles better too ....
