It's about time the BBC tried to do something bold and commit to showing the Women's game at weekends. Where men's football is behind a pay wall drifting away from fans, the women's game could shift the dial back and welcome a huge amount of young women into the sport.

Goodison could be the perfect opportunity for Everton too.

They were crap for 90% of the match, dreadful in fact, so they've finally achieved parity with the men's national team.
