Nice one. Yes the young leaves are the ones suggested mateYeah, not sure what type you have there, but I always use the young leaves next to the florets, but leave the main ones because the plants will keep on pushing out small florets.

Perry? pear cider. Our garden is still very crap compared to yous lads, Joey especially, but early days - currently just looking after the yard and the wife doing up the roses and strawberries and smaller things like that.
Got any experience/tips for dichondra, anyone? We tried to plant it and followed instructions but it didn't work so will retry next week most likely, if it's not hotter than the sun outside.
Also due to travelling lately the stupid small cherry we bought is now struggling and will likely die ffs. But, of course, the pear we're not fans of is producing quite well - a fruit we have no one in the family enjoying and we make 0 effort to look after before I cut the tree down, just doing its thing on its own neglected own self...
Also (pt. 2) - we have two huge walnut trees, one early and one late, so we're naturally making some liqueur with the early one as it's started having decently soft fruit and it was about the right time. Will report if it is any good in about a month and a half or two I guessLate one will get the same treatment in a few weeks too.

Percy - Shrewsbury's Park's Manager - became the first millionaires Horticulturist - mainly via advertising his famous advert on ITV made his fame .....We used to watch Percy Thrower on the telly. He always wore a collar and tie like the old head gardeners. His one was: The answer lies in the soil. It became a bit of a mantra.

He was spot on, as a nurseryman Parks Nursery Superintendent if your potting compost is rubbish - so are you .....
Not a fan mate, will probably go for some jelly or something when the fruits ripen - if nothing else to get used to the process and give some to friends and stuff. As I said the tree will go regardless so might as well make something out of itPerry? pear cider.
