Gardening with Joey

@Joey66 : I bought a small tub of thyme reduced in price from the supermarket. It's a little distressed at the edges, but otherwise fine. Can I plant this in the garden, do I thin it out, or put it in some water before I do anything ?

Lovely to see the thread back and seeing what you are all up to. Love your garden too Joey.
We have got in to growing edible stuff over the last couple of years.
Couple of pics of the sweetcorn and purple sprouting brocolli which seems to be coming on ok. Also a pic of some stuff we got out of the greenhouse for a little salad tonight👍View attachment 317204View attachment 317205
Nice. Purple sprouting for spring or Autumn ? :)

We have been told the leaves are like a lovely spring cabbage....don't know if it's true but we will do some with Sundays roast. Florets not quite there yet👍
Yeah, not sure what type you have there, but I always use the young leaves next to the florets, but leave the main ones because the plants will keep on pushing out small florets.
