Why a collar on the players kit and not on the goalkepers would be nice if any of our computer nerds can show the yellow one without a collar

I can't think of a situation where you'd be watching a game and trying specifically to see the badge if i'm honest.

I got one last year but have learned my lesson now. The first one I found was about September and the quality was crap. Around November some more shops got them in and they were identical in look and quality to the genuine article. Unfortunately I think @matty1878 got stung with one of the crap ones sorry la!

I’ve not really thought about this but goalkeeper kits pretty much never have a fold down collar. Trying to think of the last one we had and it must have been late 80’s/early 90’s

think we can do better, all the kit leaks as well a couple of months before released. could of bought a Chinese copy of the kit before the actual kit was announced. bit strange that

2 days late to this.

But what is "better"? And how can we do better than £20m a year?

It's not about specifically seeing it, quite the opposite.
I have a background in design and it's just my take.
For a start, the club went to great lengths to include 'EVERTON' on the crest, presumably to boost name recognition.
They ended up with a hodgepodge of a crest with way too many elements and none of them are imposing.
Then they tried the super minimal thing.
Somewhere in the middle would be great. I'm a huge fan of the mid 80's crest. Simple, clean, recognisable.
So in part it's not really Castore's fault, they didnt come up with the crest but they could have put it on a darker shield. (like Umbro did in the mid 90's).
Just something to give the crest some definition. It gets lost as it is.
Thats just my opinion
