The Euro Palace Multi Problem

No.

Simply put, Palace gambled against themselves and lost. Completely unfair on them.

But Forest transferred their shares out, and when they and Olympiacos didnt clash, they got transferred back.

The whole thing stinks, but its a lesson learned for everyone and should we qualify for Europe (which would be an achievement in its own right), then we'd do similar.

Watts and co. I expect would be the "liable", I suspect.
I feel for Palace fans but not the club, they knew full well what they were required to do if they wanted to play in Europe and made a conscious decision not to do it. They can't cry about it now. I say I feel for the fans, but to be fair I don't really see playing in the conference league as a massively worse thing, they might get further in it so it's not even that bad for them to be honest.

Very much feel for the fans.

What kind of message does it give to the fans, that the owners didnt back the team to win the cup?

So in the end their goal is bringing firepower to the negotiations table.

"Look [name of the multinational company which needs exposure, let's say Nintendo], you're going to give us 2 billion dollars to sponsor Roma, Everton, Cannes and [name of the NA franchise yet to be bought, let's say LA Lakers] for 3 years".

For the world of sports, It's a new kind of business model, as all the other multiownerships are based on hierarchy. Will it work?

Hopefully if both of us have good seasons we can both qualify for the Champions League and TFG can select which one of us they want to represent them.
The only fair way to do that would be a one-off match.

In Rome, ideally.

With Roma fielding their strongest 11, naturally.

Everton should be represented by the best over-60s five-a-side legends team Snods can scramble together in the week running up to the encounter.

I feel bad for the club too. Textor should have taken care of this.

Now Uefa have ruled on Palace being removed from the Europa League due to the Multi-Club model, does this mean Everton are at risk with our European brothers?

Let the catastrophising begin...
We'll probably finish 4th and the RS 5rh. I'm sure they can find some way of stopping us qualifying then.

I’m hopeful that Palace are the Canary in the coal mine and there issue will ensure TFG protect Everton from this (albeit unlikely) scenario..

I do feel bad for Palace fans, they stuck with the team and they deserve the spoils of winning the cup..
