How is it we get screwed and Man City get off.
The City kit deal just shows how near impossible it is for three quarters of the premier league to be able to compete.
Imagine you are Huddersfield or similar. Going in to the start of the season aiming to get in the playoffs and make it to the Championship. A 5 year plan for many teams in that league would be to make it to the PL. But what's the point? It would be so difficult to stay in the PL, and simply no chance of ever being able to compete at the top.
We've been in the top flight for 70 years. We can (just about) afford to build an incredible, state of the art stadium on the waterfront. In theory, we are in a better position than 90% of the football pyramid. But it's almost impossible for us to compete with the 2-3 teams at the very top.

Because rich people always prevail.
The richest people pay the least tax because they're rich enough to use loopholes and create companies offshore to put their money.
Poor people don't have money to do anything apart from hopefully put food on the table. If they're lucky enough to get a decent but not spectacular job, they lose their benefits and end up paying more tax than the super rich.
Manchester City have successfully delayed their punishment by years already, enabling them to achieve even more success in spite of the allegations, and to set up a footballing infrastructure that will mean almost any punishment now can barely hurt them.
Their lawyers will probably have earned tens of millions by the time this is all overāif indeed there is any conclusion, because they'll ultimately find a way to delay any announced punishment and then appeal it before it's inevitably reduced to a nothing punishment and everybody accepts there is no way for the Premier League to defeat them in this lifetime.
Everton, by comparison, have had Kenwright deeply involved with the club for three decades and then had the thickest and most inept of billionaires take over the reins, so no surprise we were walked over twice by the Premier League.
that's what he claimed afterward, he called him a "f***ing cheat" (which he was) - you're telling me that was the only time in his entire career (so far as I can tell) he saw fit to give someone a straight red (rather than the customary booking) for dissent, and it had nothing to do with the fact we're Everton?
