2024/25 Jack Harrison

Moyes rates him. He lacks confidence near goal. But he covers back on defence. He’ll be good late in matches. Good pace and work rate. Of course we can do better but one transfer window can’t solve all the issues. So for now, it’s an alright move.

….’Moyes rates him’ yet Moyes released him at the end of his loan spell.

Dyche rated him. I'm not sure Moyes had a choice. In fact when he did, Lindstrom played a lot.

Again, I don't see how Leeds get out of that contract. It's most likely he goes out on loan with them covering wages, or he stays, imo.

But will there be as gullible a club as Everton (apart from Everton!) out there, having witnessed his woeful efforts over the past 24 months, still willing to pay a huge chunk of his salary?

He doesn't start in this Leeds team, yet goes back as their highest earner. They will be desperate for him to leave!

They will but they're in a position where we have found ourselves a lot in the past three years: the player's contract is so far above his value, there will be little market for him. We took him on loan as there was no loan fee, strictly wages, and at Leeds he was a productive player and for us in his first season he showed the commitment to the system with Dyche. It's why we let so many go as a free, we couldn't find anyone to take their wages.

And I haven't seen any actual links to him coming here, just a bunch of fear mongering. If he does come back, we're in a much stronger position so it will be on our terms, which it wasn't before because of our desperation.
