….well done @HKContractDave, you got a transfer thread spot-on

How many more years of Pickford do we have? I'm not sure I see him as one of these keepers playing top level late into his 30s? I think the only way we'll find out if (and the only way for him to get there) Tyrer is going to be good enough to replace Pickford is if he goes out on loan for another season or two. If he's going to be good enough then to take over as our No1 he'll either have jumper Travers, or we'll have two capable keepers and can sell one (hopefully for profit ££).Maybe pathway blocker is the wrong phrase. But I'm not sure we pay money and give an apparently quite meaty 4 year deal to a 26yo backup if our 23yo keeper projects to be as good or better in 1-2 years time, and if he isn't going to be (and therefore is going to be nowhere near starting quality) do you just take money and clauses now instead of extending and loaning yet again?
TraverstyIt'll be a traversty to not get him in.
The Bournemouth lads are a good bunch. They have often posted really positive stuff about their visits to Goodison. They seem like proper football fans.Beat me to it...are they just being nice Bournemouth fans or is that their general demeanor? If so then ol' Trav's is in for a Blued awakening when he produces his first clanger for Southall FC.
You've cast doubt on the need for him and the cost. What?
Boro fans?....didn't realise there was that many. The Boro fans in my office reckon he is a great signing for us.
