New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I’ve just spotted a post on X saying only 25 days to go etc., many of the comments (a lot) were complaining about branding, white walls inside and the lack of Everton on the seats.
Have the club said anything about this branding to the interior? I presume we will be selling advertising and I would imagine they will be LED boards now.

I think it looks half-finished right now. The roofs of the main structure are still strewn with scaffolding, detritus and remain unpainted. The walls in the stadium are still bare concrete. It looks industrial and starkly functional at the moment.

I want to love our new home, but it’s still very much a new house.

Whilst I understand people's frustrations regarding the lack of internal branding etc, we have to remember not everything has to be done for day 1. Don't get me wrong, I'd much prefer the wall in the south stand to be painted blue and to have Everton in the seats for the Brighton game, but there is plenty of time for things to be added over time.

Finally got to see it in person today, the videos and photos don't do it justice. Stuck Hill Dickinson stadium into the sat nav, came to a left turn took it and there was the new ground taking up the horizon. Spectacular sight I'll go back down tomorrow for another look, took a drive to Goodison too and went for a walk around..

Yeah I have to say of all the things to get bothered about that is one of the weirdest, it’s difficult to imagine any scenario where having efc spelled out on the seats would make any difference to anything.
I think it’s probably a hangover from having amazing updates from the drone guys when it was changing daily/weekly for the first couple of years. The exterior updates have obviously slowed as we get closer to completion.

When I first get to experience it in person, in my seat for the Brighton game the last thing on my mind will be whether there is EFC or Everton on the seats.

I understand wanting more Everton touches in the concourses and the external areas. But they will come with time. I just can’t wait to get in there for the first game though. All the other stuff will come along over time.

I promise this is not a pop at you, just that reading your post made me think…
Imagine being able to say that you were at the first ever match at Goodison Park. D’you ever wonder what it looked like back in 1892?
There will come a time when some of us can say that about BMD/HD. This is a once in a 100+ years event, and we are SO privileged to be “here” and “now” to be part of history.
And, yes I’ve been drinking…hic

Its magnificent isn't it 💙😍💙

Having the club name picked out on seats does help create firm identity as there are a surprising number of shots of an empty or near empty stadium pre kickoff in tv coverage that gets beamed around the world. It also helps with aerial shots on non-match days and stock videos. It is not the most important thing by any means but it is a thing.

Branding is very important. "Everton" has to be somewhere and somewhere very visible.
