To be fair, Pickford will be what 35, and Travers will be at his prime for a GK.

Also 4 years, means PSR is £1m a year. Every little helps.

I doubt it. My guess would be he's content to stay in a PL environment with the money, security, facilities etc that go with it rather than drop down a level and play more but without the benefits. It's all pretty normal as far as I can see, being a back up keeper is a pretty standard thing for people to do, I don't really understand why people are acting as if this would be different to any other situation. Freddie Woodman's just given up being a number 1 in the Championship to be number 3 at Liverpool. I very much doubt he thinks he's going to break into their first team.
