Not overly impressed by Howard's comments here in my attached picture but I was with Athletic's museum/stadium tour at their ground today.

Starting from a blank slate gives us a brilliant opportunity to show off the history of our magnificent club. I'm sure there's plenty we can bring over from Goodison and there's enough footage I've seen from YouTube to make a fantastic interactive experience.

The story of Everton is also the story of the history of English football. If the club can create something special, people will come and pay good money to see it.

From the city centre, it's an approximate two miles (40 minute) walk to the new ground (less than the equivalent distance to Goodison).

I appreciate that some supporters have difficulties with mobility but the vast majority are able bodied and a two mile walk shouldn't present too much of a challenge.

I blame kids getting dropped off by car at the school gates for most of the moans on here - have you never heard of shanks pony?
