Disappointed Girmay hasn't really hit form this tour.
He's looking decent - Milan and Merlier are a clear level above anyone on a flat sprint right now.
Much internet outrage today over teams like uno-x and tudor pulling the peloton and catching vdP, just so their sprinters can finish ninth.

Good to see DeLie contesting things this weekend, he's been wildly out of form this season. Similar to Girmay he can win on a slightly punchier finale.

Could be of interest today. The stage into Puy Du Sancy in the Massif Central is full of category 2 climbs and might be of interest to Pogacar to build extend his time gap over Vingegaar.

Alternatively, most expect Vingegaard and Visma to attack Pogacar later in the week in the high category mountains but they might try something today.

A bit of huff and puff from JV, without ever looking like they'd do much. Both Pogacar and Vingegaard are so far ahead of the rest, I just can't see how Jorgensen et al can do any damage at all.
UAE are down a couple of strong riders (Almeida and Sivakov) so a long attack from Jorgensen would make sense once they get in the mountains.
