If six was nine.

The real frauds are the media who champion social justice and human rights causes yet turn a blind eye to the cases of Man City, PSG and Newcastle and instead fawn over their 'success' I'll never forget the hypocrite Shearer talking about how playing a World Cup in Qatar was morally wrong because of their anti gay laws yet when his beloved Newcastle get bought out by the Saudi regime which is equally intolerable from a humans rights perspective he's happy as Larry as they can spend money on better players

What would it profit a man if he inherit the earth but lose his soul?

We might be a basket case of a club more often than not, but I'm proud to be a blue and think we are a club that tries to do the right thing and has a decent bunch of fans. The irony being that we got punished for financial irregularities whilst others run roughshod over them doesn't diminish that - badly run yes, dishonest no.

I look at City and Newcastle and see how easy it was for their fanbase to be bought off for a bit of success though and don't think we'd have been any more difficult to buy off as a fan base in general. I know both those clubs have supporters who disprove of their owners and so would we, but I don't think we'd be much different. Perhaps it's a good thing we don't have to worry about it as any more than a what if.

If six was nine, if Everton were Man City.

If six was nine? A jimmi Hendrix song from Axis bold as love album. He was singing about what if? In anything that was completely flipped, either affected him directly or had no bearing on his life, he didn't mind.
What if Bill Kenwright had sold Everton, lock stock and barrel to the Saudies.
Who in that fantasy, would you have had as manager, who would you have bought, where would you have built the new stadium? You can have any player in our fantasy football league game. No one is unavailable. What if we were the owners of the luxury bus, and not the passenger waiting at the stop, checking his change to see if he's even got enough money to get on.
Everton, Saudie owned, money no object, who is your fantasy team and manager?
Can someone more technologically advanced ask this to AI and see what it says please?

I once wrote an 'alternative history' of Everton, the point of divergence was winning two games in one week in 1971, against Panathinaikos in the European Cup and the RS in the FA Cup semi final a few days later.

As a result Everton became the most successful team in England and remain top dogs for over 50 years.

They had Peter Swales, and went down to the third tier. Now look at them. We've had Johnson, Kenwright and Moshiri we'll come out of our stink soon enough.
