Stayed around Matlock Bath a few times - cracking pubs.

Very close to Buxton, I use the white Lodge car park. Nice there. There's a toilet in the car park, lovely walk along the river, peaceful.

Everyone from Liverpool seems to head to N Wales or the Lakes, when Derbyshire is just as near.

It’s the same with the South Dales, where they meet Lancs / Cumbria, hardly anyone goes there either and it’s an hour and a half away too.
