Cornish pasties, where to get em ?

In my youth i went on holidays to Cornwall and Devon with the family. The long lasting memory i have is that pasties down there were way better than anything ya can get up here. Forget supermarkets / Greggs / Sayers etc. Is there an authentic pasty place in this city that I don't know of ? Recommendations ?

Its there national snack - you should have no problem fining a good bakery..... with a Cornish Pasty - I was in Wales a few weeks back & tried a Welsh Ogi pastie @Kurt. should know all about them - made with Leeks & beef mince etc very expensive at £5.25p but TBF they were massive like scouse in a pastry .....

They were only £4 & I named dropped Kurt & had to pay extra :D - I got told their women's football team were top class too..... :D

Never had an Ogie in my life, not my cup of tea. Years ago there was a bakery in town which made their own pasties in a flaky pastry, they were a thing of beauty. Sadly the place closed down a few years ago and now all the bakeries around here tend to make their pasties with a shortcrust pastry instead, which is disappointing.

I’ve visited every shop in wales and told them if a grumpy man wearing a Dyson t-shirt and an I ❤️Jersey bucket hat comes into the establishment please be sure to charge him double.
