The venue will be licensed to hold more than 15 events each year on the plaza, with a number of promoters already in discussion about the potential to hold day festivals or one-off shows there.

But what about inside? How many can we hold inside the ground?

No mention but there are some seats in Trinity street coming up for sale and the pack they’re using now has this image of seats with ‘Everton’ on the seats

Everton believe they will be able to get an amendment to their planning improve to enable them to hold more full capacity events. It is one of the details TFG zeroed in on during due diligence and want to get flexed. Something to watch moving forward.

Does Liverpool have a 'summer series' at all? Leeds has it in millennium square (I live there and saw black keys there this week), Manchester has Castleford bowl 6-8k capacity

I saw there was gigs at pier head but unsure on capacity

Brilliant this... absolutely pulls the rug out from underneath from that lot in term of concerts.

At this rate they'll have John Aldridge doing karaoke back to back nights.

That’s another reason why the chosen location of our stadium is huge. Anfield limited to four gigs a year because of where it is in a residential area. Ours with no such restrictions. That’s massive in terms of revenue for the football club, PSR and helping the club be self sufficient financially.

The fact the location is stunning from a viewpoint is the cherry on top. Moshiri was a pain in the bum, but he and his pal done us good here choosing the much more complicated dock location rather than Stonesbridge Cross which was “ready to go” from the off and much more straightforward to build.

Stonebridge cross was never a realistic option. We were used to force the hand of Amazon, who eventually decided against placing a warehouse there anyway.

Think the Pier Head gigs are 10k ish capacity?

There's another set of them lined up at the end of August.
