New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Yes but the majority of that profit is paid to the members as a remuneration charge, 56 million on the last set of accounts.
yes I understand that, the profit has to be shown as going somewhere on the balance sheet. Even at a headline £10m of sponsorship, there is £46m to divvy out. It seems that law is a very profitable business. (Goes to look at their share price...)

They became the icons they are at Goodison.

They have no affiliation with BMD at all. Leave them where they are.
IMO they became icons playing for Everton. They belong whenever Everton calls home, for me, so that younger generations will always know who our best and most celebrated players were. It'll sadly very likely be decades into the future when we are able to celebrate anybody remotely similar, so get 'em down to the Dick in time for it to open.

If there's anyone who believes a firm of glorified ambulance chasers in Liverpool can sponsor a PL club to the tune of £10M p.a. I've got some land in Alaska I'd like to sell to you.

It's Everton FFS. Of course it's 'kin dodgy.
Previous Everton ownership has conditioned you into thinking like this.

There is absolutely nothing dodgy about this.

I think people have to remember the wording we used for the deal.

Upto 10 million per year. The caveats for that would be us winning the Premier League or Champions League and we have flying unicorns at the games.

The other thing is that (up to) £10m would be subject to 30% corp tax iirc if they didn’t spend it on advertising as a direct expense, so in reality even £10m would ‘only’ by £7m in real terms to them.
