New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Planning on making the Trip for the Fulham game in November if it doesn’t get moved for TV which I don’t think it will..

But glad the first game is on the telebox. Interested to see what the stadium and the game itself looks like from the proper gantry vantage point. The stream for the test events didn’t give a proper perspective because the cameras were lower down than what the normal camera setting will be.

Widely touted by who? Only seem them figures mentioned by a couple of molluscs on here

You can see there audited accounts on companies house.

That’s another reason why the chosen location of our stadium is huge. Anfield limited to four gigs a year because of where it is in a residential area. Ours with no such restrictions. That’s massive in terms of revenue for the football club, PSR and helping the club be self sufficient financially.

The fact the location is stunning from a viewpoint is the cherry on top. Moshiri was a pain in the bum, but he and his pal done us good here choosing the much more complicated dock location rather than Stonesbridge Cross which was “ready to go” from the off and much more straightforward to build.

thats the 23/24 accounts, won’t be anything to indicate value of the stadium sponsorship until 24/25.
Even then it’s highly doubtful it would be outright listed. Might be calculable by any obviously significant jumps in some of the outlay costs compared to previous years.

Shouldn't sponsorship deals appear in Everton's accounts also?

At first glance, it does sound improbable that a company with those turnover/profit figures would sponsor a football club to the tune of £10m per year. However, if they see it generating far more business or facilitating national/international expansion for them, then who knows? I think most of the "doubts" stems from most people expecting a household name or international brand. At the other end of that scale there are probably a lot of very successful, but lesser known companies, who might see this as a massive opportunity to raise their profile internationally. So what appears implausible might actually make financial sense. It should come out in the wash at some point.

I think the amount is irrelevant in some ways Tom. We'd all like a multi-national mega bucks deal, but I think what should be blatantly obvious is that we probably took the best offer there was. If that's 1 million a year, fine, if it's 10, fine.

I doubt individual deals would be easily or explicitly identified in the clubs accounts but time will tell I guess.
As for the up to £10m PA from HD for the stadium, it does sound a bit rich imho, but there’s all sorts of variables.
I’ve said before their income growth over the last few years is pretty impressive and given they’re a services company, the profit to revenue ratio is high also, both of which could lead to a significant advertising budget should they wish.
Someone else said those accounts are also only for their UK entity, the sponsorship might be from an overseas entity for any number of reasons, which would further obfuscate the actual figures.
I doubt its as low as £2-3m PA as publicly stating the caveated £10m per year would have been a pretty daft position to put themselves in.
