Confirmed Signing Mark Travers

Massive jump to being number two here i look at trafford when was up last time with burnley was just not ready. And it showed to much of risk imo

Not sure if serious the lad is 31 amd can 100% being top of the clubs list to get looked into a new deal. Be same wih tark moyes thinks is he is a key park of the squad. Honestly could be here another 5 years easily even more ashley young was 39, gk last longer

If I were Pickford I'd want a crack at silverware before I retired.

He's had quite a few already. Sadly, it was his "elite" team-mates Bukayo Sako, Marcus Rashford, Harry Kane, and others who proved not up to it in key moments...
Exactly. He'll need a club team to satisfy any ambitions he has. Sadly that isn't Everton.

Right now, I completely agree.

But hope remains for another month or so before it dies hard in me...
No chance we win anything for a few years. Certainly nt under Moyes. He has us pegged as plucky Everton and he wont have any ambitions to win here. This is Moyes' last big pay day. That's all.

I don't disagree. I was never a Moyes man - even if I acknowledge his competence and respect the jobs he has done at Everton in specific circumstances both then and now. For me, it's about the Friedkins. What is THEIR ambition? They got Moyes in a moment of vulnerability. I doubt being 16th and shipping hidings come November will see them sit on their hands. So, Moyes may not be my man of choice, but lots depends on the owners. If they can supply him with the means to get good players, let's see what happens. His slow starts won't be tolerated if they do...

TFG are here IMO to get this facility sweated: up and running as a cash cow to prove it's a goer before they sell the club on at a profit.

PL status becomes all in that scenario. You get mid table and it's nice and comfy. They'd take that for the next 4/5 seasons in a heart beat. It's Roma they want trophies from. That'll satisfy them in that respect.

Yeah and im telling you he wont be joining them.

Hes very happy at Everton, the crazy man.

I suspect he rejoins Sunderland after here, seen nothing to suggest thats not the case.

We'll see. But if Travers is coming in it suggests he's been advised that it could be all change at Everton in a year or so and he can be the number 1.
