Good to wet their feet with cold water mate, one of the best ways to cool them down if they start panting in the house.
I take ours in the back garden and just run a bit of cold water over his feet. We also have a small spray bottle that sprays like a mist, fill it with water and keep it in the fridge, then there's the massive fan thats like a jet engine and sits on the floor.
Cost a fortune trying to look after them.
I feel like screaming when you see people out with their dogs at midday onwards.

Cheers mate. You sound similar to me, I spend more time looking after the dogs than myself Always had working Labradors, they get a bit coiled up to say the least when not walking, we’re normally out the door by 6am.

Like you say cold water over the feet is great for them. As for people walking the dogs in this weather? Can’t really say on here what I think, cruel and utterly thoughtless.

I understand the Spanish take a siesta in the middle hottest part of the day. But when it is so hot, how is sleeping even possible?

Yes, but I spent yesterday pondering buying 1, ive left it now till after the weekend and then it will probably rain on Monday, in short, our hot weather is so short and fleeting, it never feels "worth it", I mean you are paying decent money for a decent bit of kit I assume.

Comfort is almost always worth it IMO, Friend, and it's not like it's a one use item. They're anywhere from $300+ here, depends on the type of unit and the square footage it's intended to cool. Have one in this here computer room since this thing is basically venting out like a portable heater when the 4070 Super's flailing away and I like to keep my space more icy than she does the rest of the house which I don't understand, considering where she's from.

"How can you sleep with no covers?" I guess I don't have to worry about a boob falling out for that nonexistent, voyeuristic mailman to wank to dear.

I just go and sit in the van for a few mins, aircon on full whack
