New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

You can, but we're on the eve of opening up a new stadium and the constant references to Goodison from the self appointed guardians of the club's identity (a stadium which everyone can still go and visit by the way) is not reading the room.

Does anyone know what the Hill Dickinson naming rights deal is worth?

Just reading that Spurs recent transfer splurge is based on a new naming rights deal with a Saudi company.

Can’t find any details on value but I read that ‘chairman Daniel Levy hopes to secure a naming rights package worth as much as £25 million a year for 15 years, which would earn the club a world record £375 million’
Way less than what's been reported by client journalists.

There'll be a load of clauses to get to anything approaching around £3M p.a. never mind the billed £10M p.a. being trumpeted by the chimps with keyboards who do the club's bidding for them.

Why do you even bother supporting Everton mate, honestly you would probably be happier if you didn’t

£3m per annum is disappointing if true.

It's also a figure that Dave has just made up. He knows the same as everyone else, that the deal is up to £10m a year. I'm surprised his entirely made up number is as high as £3m, tbh. Don't fall for his nonsense.

My guess would be a floor of £5m per annum adjusted for inflation and a max of £10m per annum based on performance measures.

It's all guessing though, isn't it? Dave was always going to guess on the lower end because his only interest on this forum is winding up fellow blues. It's a weird hobby. What we can be sure of is that it was the best deal on offer. Maybe if we can raise our profile by doing better on the pitch the next deal will be worth more.

So, something that's been a HUGE part of your life you just forget about when they've gone?
Can we apply the same rules to the people we went there with? The memories made there with those people?
They're dead now, forget about them.

Clown

Is all you remember about people their association with Goodison Park? No, presumably.

This the new stadium thread, btw.

Goodison is about as relevant to this thread as our other old ground Anfield.

What, contradicting propagandists in the media who spend most of their lives denouncing Evertonians and pushing the agenda of the club owners against the best interests of the fans is the opposite to supporting Everton?
