Moyes never swore when he wrote to me although I bet he felt like doing so a few times!

Yes that’s true— I actually wanted Moyes to come here when he was PNE’s manager myself, wrote him a letter praising his teams performance after we beat them 2-0 in an FA cup game, I thought they were the better team that day, he replied to the letter.

Then I definitely thought he had outstayed his welcome well before his time was up.
