Old Photos Of Where You Live

I didn't want to start a new post and this one seems to be the most relevant and active.

Basically I've been down the Ancestry rabbit hole since I received the DNA kit 18 months ago. I managed to find a lot of information about my great grandfather who was born in Frodsham but grew up in Wavertree until he was about 10 (not sure exactly just going off census data). Then moved to Rock Ferry.

He was upper middle class and his father was a doctor. I've found an account written by his wife. He ended up with a managerial role in the Liverpool Tin Canister works. I'm just curious to find out where this was. It's described as being located 'Everton way' which could literally be anywhere between the city centre and Everton. I've searched maps from 1890s but couldn't find it. As you'd expect there is a lot of industry dotted about, saw mills, foundaries, breweries etc but no sign of this place. Just wondering if there's any historians out there that might know where it might have been located.

He didn't particularly like his time there and wrote of the horrible working conditions. He was a Quaker, Fabian and later a conscientious objector. Also an Evertonian, the reason I support Everton today.
