In all honesty he played the villain well, but he is such an annoying pain in the arse and the drop off at Red Bull since 2023 has been ridiculous - without Verstappen they'd be insignificant.

Surprised about the timing, although I think they're totally certain they're not going to win the WDC now and they were perhaps hanging on until then.

I find it hard to believe it’s related to he performance of the car. They just came off a run of 4 WDC, their fall off is nowhere near what Mercs was after they dominated. Maybe preparations for next season regs are going terrible ? Or there is more allegations still to come out ?

As much of a scrote a he is, he’s been the most successful team principle since 2010 with 8 WDC and 7 constructors over two different eras and the one era they didn’t win in was the one where the engine regs were so heavily stacked in Mercs favour no one has had a hope.
