Last Film You Watched

The last film I watched was ‘Heretic’ on Amazon Prime starring Hugh Grant.

A strong first act with an intriguing premise, kind of lost its way unfortunately. I wish it was a bit braver and committed to the psychological aspect that made it initially interesting, but it went quite predictable unfortunately.

If I were to give it a star rating, I’d say 2 out of 5 bananas.

My wife was pretty confused at the end, and with any film that doesn't have a simple, logical and clean cut ending said, "What the fluff!"

But there was an additional emphasis of it making no sense to her.

The bits where he flings his arms around and has absolutely zero defence?

The boxing scenes are absolutely infuriating in the Rocky films because they look so amateur and ridiculous.

Atrocious but I love it.

Went to see Jurassic World Rebirth today. I’m usually quite forgiving with this sort of film but I thought it was really bad. If you told me the script was 100% written by AI I would believe you more than it being written by the guy who wrote the original Jurassic Park (which is the case). Also the script is delivered by boring characters being played by actors that are completely phoning it in. There is one of the most painful exposition scenes I can remember too.

I don’t mind films like this having silly story lines with plot holes all over the place and a bit of a dodgy script if they are fun, have exciting actions scenes and a bit of humour thrown in. This doesn’t have any of those.

The first Transformers is actually a really good film, whereas Batman and Robin is an absolute car crash. You should defo feel guilty about liking it!!
