Id say 8th-9th. Under Moyes we averaged that with the current depleted squad, so a greatly improved squad would hopefully be able to maintain that for a season. No reason we cant pick up another 8 points with an extra 20 matches at the helm and vastly improved finances.

Spuds and Utd will be stronger, and the top 7-8 won't be weaker, but do have Europe games to knacker them out nicely.

Best of the rest and a cup run will do me.

But... say Barry hits the ground running, or Dwight / ndiaye / Beto have a purple patch. Who knows where a run + a few gritty Moyes 1-0's in between Jan and April when the others are mashed with games gets us ..

IMO we need to replace the likes of Forest and get on PAR with Villa and Newcastle, we are bigger than them all.

For me, we should look at reaching the Conference League and perhaps the Europa League. Throw in a decent cup and it should be a mint season.

I would say we are bigger than Forest and Newcastle but would say Villa are a more succesful club than us when it comes to major trophies.
