I think you can make the case it's a women's team expense but:

1. You don't know how long that exception will last
2. You don't get the sugar rush of a huge capital injection.

Yeah like you say you could make the argument if you really really wanted to. I dunno if we’d want to get into more grey areas having “got away” with the interest issue etc.

Agree that while the rules are what they are you make the full clean break rather than complicate things with a rental arrangement for a ground that in the short term needs more money pumped into it.

You would really like to think so. It’s a lever you can only pull once so you have to take advantage.

If you are going to pull this lever, now would be the time to do it. Small squad that needs reinforcing immediately and an expectation of increased revenue from the new stadium down the line. Also, get it done before any rules are changed.
