As long as we aren’t using it for a shopping list they’ve got.Now we know why 30 million to our peasant brothers in Rome won’t matter.
Just waiting for the EPL press release that that particular loop hole was closed effective 23:59 on 7th July.I wonder how many points we will get deducted for that![]()
We can conclude on how TFG perform in the transfer market at the end of the window.
They definitely deserve credit for quietly and efficiently selling the women’s team including GP.
Whether that was to help the recent PSR year or to provide transfer headroom for the new PSR year, we will see (probably a bit of both).
What’s the finances, how much have they been sold for?
You could sell on installment basisI’m a little suprised they’ve sold GP rather than renting to themselves indefinitely, I guess they’re hedging against such transactions being more closely governed in the future so hopefully taking a lump now while they can.
Probably also an angle to isolate the cost of changes for the Woman’s league matches and upkeep from the Men’s team OpEx.
Richard Masters is crying over his desk right now, desperately writing new, grandfathered-in rules for teams in blue.I’m a little suprised they’ve sold GP rather than renting to themselves indefinitely, I guess they’re hedging against such transactions being more closely governed in the future so hopefully taking a lump now while they can.

With Cheatsea being the exceptionRichard Masters is crying over his desk right now, desperately writing new, grandathered-in rules for teams in blue.
Yeah I think the issue is that if EFC is the “landlord” they’re on the hook for the cost of the alterations for the ground and I doubt we could say that was a women’s football expense (ie PSR exempt) since we’d technically not have one. So it probably had to all be done in one fell swoop.I’m a little suprised they’ve sold GP rather than renting to themselves indefinitely, I guess they’re hedging against such transactions being more closely governed in the future so hopefully taking a lump now while they can.

I think you can make the case it's a women's team expense but:Yeah I think the issue is that if EFC is the “landlord” they’re on the hook for the cost of the alterations for the ground and I doubt we could say that was a women’s football expense (ie PSR exempt) since we’d technically not have one.
