I think we all want them to come in and do well… unfortunately some players being told to say it’s exciting times isn’t going to cut it

Of course, actions not words. I’m taking a wait and see approach personally.

If things don’t go smooth I would be interested to see if the likes of the Echo will hold them more to account than they did the previous people .

Doing a cracking job of rebuilding last seasons team. Only need to rehire a couple more of them and we are nearly there.

Hope these guys have got a better plan than what it looks like at the moment.

Terrifying thoughts.
Imagine, no new stadium and maybe liquidation, a complete laughing stock with no one caring except Everton fans.

I'd be concerned if I was a Palace fan, they might look into them, in fact surely they will.
After what Palace went through previously and coming back from the brink, that would just not be funny at all from their perspective.

Pardon the ignorance. What is the issue many are having with TFG exactly?

Aside from the boss not attending Goodison once, which I found to be a bad look as he should've been there for the final match I feel, what have they done wrong so far?
They've don't nothing other than save the club from certain death.

You only have to look at the carry on this week of the guy who was next line to take over.

Totally. They/we have had our hands tied with PSR issues until June 30 so they've been unable to move in the market as desired. Is that why people are going off?
Some Blues will find fault in absolutely anything and aren't truly comfortable unless there is an axe to grind.

In the short time they've been here for me it's only positives.

I think we'll only get a true reading of how they are as owners in about 2+ years.

Till then we've kinda got to let it play out.

It's simple, football fans by default are impatient and want everything done now not tomorrow
Correct...One of Moshiri's main faults was buckling when the natives got restless.

I think that's when good solid leadership comes in.

I think about when Glasner went on that stinking run at Palace and their board held firm and ultimately they've come out of it with an FA cup.

Football is the biggest example of sliding doors.

brains are broken and trust issues cultivated from the past failed ownerships , so the people are wary regardless

But you got to hire the right guy in the first place for loyalty to pay off. Moshiri's problem wasn't disloyalty - it was hiring the wrong guys, in general. Any idiot could have told him that Lampard was never going to work. Koeman was always a vanity appointment. As for Benitez, well, what chance did that ever have?

Carlo was a coup - but also a vanity signing in that there was no point hiring the best elite manager in the world if you are not going to give him elite players to manage. Silva wasn't remotely good enough to justify the dubious lengths Mosh went to get him.

Dyche, ironically, enough was arguably the soundest appointment: horses for courses (though Allardyce also comes into that category).

So appears the women’s team has indeed now been sold?
