I mean, companies chauffeur around common-or-garden execs and they are hardly as valuable as a player like this poor lad.

One thing I will give credit to the Spanish authorities for is they do not shy away from revealing what they believe was the cause of this tragedy. In Ireland, young men die every weekend in car crashes and we are never ever told what most of us quiety suspect: speed and intoxication are a deadly combination.

I hate to say it, but in Ireland not enough families are upset enough about speeding or drink-driving. Maybe we need to draw back the veil of secrecy...
