I agree to a point. Stokes has made 2 bad decisions with the toss. He's only playing as a captain these days.

Crawley, Bashir, Tongue, Woakes are not good enough. And neither is Stokes currently

I played the game dodgy knees & age are catching up with our Captain 4 overs he only bowled .... & to bowl first on that pitch was always going to be an uphill fight!

I don't think it's moaning per se, it's just fans of test match cricket wanting an England test team to play actual test match cricket.
Rather than giving the opposition the advantage and then trying to solve every problem, issue or tactical discrepancy by just belting it.
