Why is it when we do something good, it’s that they didn’t turn up, rather than we were good and didn’t allow them to?Who are Everton?
In case you don't watch them, Keane did okay in two games that were dead rubbers for us. And if you'd taken the time to read the forums of both teams involved. The common thread was that neither of them turned up on the day
Now if you are talking about Keane's performance in high pressure situations,I give you City at home as his last stellar contribution, but there's plenty of other examples over the years.
Reminds me somehow of this clip that popped up of an Arsenal supporter making excuses about the rain hurting them. The host said, “Mate, it’s raining for the other team, too. What are you talking about?”Why is it when we do something good, it’s that they didn’t turn up, rather than we were good and didn’t allow them to?
They say they didn’t turn up because they expected us to be walkovers like we were under Dyche and Lampard and Benitez and they are embarrassed that we showed them up.
Being outplayed doesn’t mean they haven’t turned up just because some of their own fans said so.

Every single one is better than Michael Keane. A brick on a rope swinging from a pole is better than Michael Keane.
You yourself compared him with Wout Faes, the worst defender to play in the PL since Cuco Martina, earlier this summer.
So you are upset that Keane could be playing (likely not though), whilst simultaneously suggesting you would want someone who is currently worse than him in the squad instead because in 2/3 years they may or may not be better than Keane? But right now are definitely worse.Literally this. If the best CB we’ve got in the academy can’t possibly ever be better than Michael Keane then he may as well pack it in now. If he could be better than that extremely low bar then I’d rather see him in the squad than Keane. There’s also the entirety of world football we could have looked at for a player who could actually challenge the starting pair, could perhaps cover full back or defensive midfield, and god forbid might actually increase in value. But no, Michael Keane is the answer, doesn’t matter how much of a known failure he is, he is the answer.

We could go out and buy someone to challenge the starting positions, but that would cost what? £30m? 40m? More? When realistically, JOB is the future starter coming in to replace Tarks as starter. We have one of the best defences in the league, and one of the worst attacks. That £30m is much better used in attack. Surely you can see that?
When - and it will happen - he capitulates in September / October and an otherwise bright start to the season gets obliterated by this human jellyfish, we were warned. We have seen this movie before.
