2024/25 Jack Harrison

We finished 13th last season, and should have finished 12th the prior season, with him playing many of those minutes. There was no loan fee, all we paid were wages, not many of those players available. Given all that (and him playing out of position his entire time here), I have to disagree.

Does that mean I want him back or that he played well while here? No. But he was a symptom of the times more than anything, and frankly the results we got with guys like him, Doucoure etc. is pretty remarkable.
We could have played pretty much anyone in his position for the games he played and the results would have been the same. He barely had any influence on any game bar the one goal and one assist.

We couldn't have, because we couldn't afford anyone else. Lindstrom was half the player Harrison was, and he cost an actual fee.

Dont see the point getting him back and if club is waiting for a good deal on him to get hin on the cheap. Thought would be at the very end of the window, i kno some not a fan of fellows at west brom. But would prob cost a similar proce and alot less wages with more room to make money back on the deal.

If true why is this waste of a squad place even being considrered, his return from over 60 games is abysmal, and costing us £4.5m a year.in his defence some say he works hard, mostly tracking back when he has lost the ball through his own shortcomings as a an adaquate wide player. While other clubs find and develop up and coming talents for a fraction of the outlay,we go back to Happy Jack Harrison...

Beg to differ Lindstrom was a much better player in my opinion, was quicker than Harrison and could actually pass the ball and he defended much better was always the first to the ball when the opposition attacked down the right hand side.

Always thought Harrison was such a strange player, two footed with a great first touch but his output was utterly horrendous. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Moyes went back in for him but really hoped we had set our sights higher for that right side.
