The rain, it raineth every day
Crushing victory for Lancashire by 42 runs. Now top by four points.
Seems a decent player that green. Don't really know much about him tbh but he's been doing okay.Lancashire well on their way, Derbyshire 90-6, Green doing the job again, two wickets in an over. Derbyshire need an unlikely 89 off 5 overs.
He's been a great overseas signing, unlike many, many other failures for Lancashire. Good all rounder, wasn't supposed to play in the county championship but has, and put in a great shift with both bat and ball.Seems a decent player that green. Quite often within the last 10 years. We've just lost Broad and Anderson, Wood, Archer still out.I'll reframe my question then, when was last time England were famous for a Elite bowling attack?
India proving if you out bat England you'll win a test series.
??? I don't get it, how do you replace someone for the national team?Quite often within the last 10 years. We've just lost Broad and Anderson, Wood, Archer still out.
In 2015 the attack was Anderson, Broad, Tremlett, Swann, Finn, Bresnan.
2018 - Broad, Anderson, Woakes, Curran, Ali/Rashid.
2020 - Broad, Anderson, Archer, Wood, Woakes, Curran.
The better question is why haven't England properly replaced Swann? Because the weakness has been spin.
Something was mentioned early in the test about what fatigue does to the brain/body. Essentially you perceive the ball differently when tired which makes it harder to bat. And you become worse the more you have to strategise during your innings. What do I know. Perfect declaration
When they retire, you replace them with someone of similar style and ability???? I don't get it, how do you replace someone for the national team?

Yes, but it's not like we can go and buy Shane warne is itWhen they retire, you replace them with someone of similar style and ability?
England won that series with Harmison, Flintoff and Jones all bowling at or around 90mph.ECB can't produce a spinner. Neither can they keep fit a scary pace bowler - Archer, Wood, Harmison? 2 of them are from same Town.
Even Mitch Starc threw down 90+
Ashes 2005 - Brett Lee and Kaspowiwz bowled 90mph+, and then Shane Warne was worlds best bowler.
Why have England got to that level?
Is the sun affecting you?Like Harry Kane's record for England then
Joe Root bowling medium-slow at near 600 down isn't a way to win a Test cricket game
