Slightly off-topic, I went to see the F1 movie, and I was quite surprised - in a good way. Reviews had been pretty hit-and-miss, or maybe marmite.

It was a yay from me.

It was a yay from me.

Generally liked it, however the following appalled me:

• CGI'ing Sonny's helmet over Martin Donnelly's accident in Jerez
• Speaking of which that was in 1990, yet Sonny's was supposedly in 93 when the cars looked different and they didn't even race in Jerez that year.
• The lead up to his crash showed Brands Hatch and not Jerez.

This took a lot out of binners suspension of disbelief.

That's before we get on to all the calls that he makes to improve the team that would lead to instant DSQ for the whole team, but I could forget about that and think of it as a Hollywood film.

Did like the technical director though...
