You only need to look at Spurs and their 'failure' to find a sponsor, to see the difficult in securing one of these 'big' names, unless they're linked to the club.

I know this isn't saying much as we could be being spun a lie from Levy, but didn't they say by leaving it as the tottenham hotspur stadium, they are effectively getting back x amount of millions in brand recognition, especially in America with the NFL and Beyonce type gigs.

AND they then get to sell it to who they choose at a later date.

The difference between us and Tottenham is that they don’t need money from stadium naming rights. They’re in very good nick money wise. We… were not. We needed the money.

Quite understand the use of the sponsor on the glass. I think they missed a trick not having an led Everton crest on the glass.

Very possibly, however they did win a cup and are in the CL, so i would take that level of failure.

Familiarisation for the stewards and finding out what area we are going to be in. No idea what they were, still bits to do in the stadium but it will be ready, seats are very dusty hope they get a jet wash before the Roma game. Also sat in the dugout and that bit of rain we had hit me while i sat there so quite a few rows will probably be getting wet including the players!

In one of the recent drone vids I think he said it was to stop paint hitting the seats from all the work they’re doing to the steel under the roof. Or something along those lines.

Has the club ever made any official statement on the steel painting work. Seems common knowledge that it was corroding or something, but seems like a major balls up by LOR, who’d seemingly done a top rate job across the board.

Been a further 6 months of follow up work, since handover.
