Confirmed Signing Thierno Barry

This thread has been on the go for 3 weeks, there's 116 pages and 1734 comments, the very first post say's we are intensifying talks, Still not done.. Is it Just Everton that behave like this or do all clubs fanny about and we just don't hear about it.

Zubimendi to Arsenal seems to be taking an eternity - yet Diarra to Sunderland was done in 24 hours. Similar with Brentford this week announcing singing Milambo without even a rumour. When you think of the complexities that must go into negotiating with clubs, players, agents, lawyers etc... most deals probably take a long time. Not sure how it works on transfer deadline day - perhaps most of those are also deals in principle that clubs have lined up and choose to execute.

Most clubs are the same, just made more difficult when your target is playing in a tournament for his country and then wishes to take a well earned break. Poor lads just been told off for bombing in the pool in Miami and now Everton have turned up and tried to drag him off for his medical in his Speedo’s. Even Moyes himself needs a break (even if he can’t help himself going to scout players while on his hols!). You would expect that now everyone is finally back at Finch Farm on Monday, the stars will begin to align and work will continue at real pace. I’d expect 4-5 new faces before we head off to America.

We are never getting a striker who can get over 20 goals a season when you have the likes of Harrison, Dacoure, Lindstrom etc.
Improve the attacking midfield and even an average striker can bet a lot of goals.
