Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

I don't watch much women's football but enjoying what I've seen of Euros.

Spain were excellent last night, knocked it round really well.

And Germany look like they've got a few good players.
Its fun to watch the talented clubs which is why the WC and Euros are fun.

The problem w/ women's football is that there are too many leagues and not enough players. This isn't a slight on women's football. Its still a sport in its infancy. If you think about there are only about 500-600 basketball players in the world you'd pay to see. A super league would really benefit women's football.

Fair point.

I think the football has vastly improved in the last 20 years even at this level. Will be very interesting how the sport will develop

For a Club who constantly preach values, class, and tradition the last few years have been a vile stretch.

1. Rwanda Sponsorship
2. Sacking the kit man over views on Palestinian Genocide
3. Sacking the mascot during Covid, while contemplating taking the Furlough scheme (Ozil helped the mascot with his wages)
4. Destroying the rest of Ozil's Career at the club for coming out in support of the Genocide of Uighur Muslims in China
5. Defending Thomas Partey for 3 YEARS.
6. Reprimanding Mohamed Elneny for speaking out on Palestine because a Coffee Brand told us to.
7. Banished Aubameyang after he went to France to visit his seriously Ill mother.

All under Arteta.
I think (hope) you may have worded this wrong.

Plenty of fans out there let their fanaticism blind them. Good to see you put your morals first. Admirable in this day and age.

Jesus Christ.

Arteta is a vile vile man and should be sacked for defending that sick f

My heart goes out to the victims, i feel sick this is disgusting from the club.

Vile from the club all round, especially when you factor in we have a women's team ffs.
This is the problem with modern game, as I said on other thread. Dagleish is still respected, despite supporting Suarez when he had admitted making comments. Rio Ferdinand has made countless homophobic remarks in past, yet is still respected. Carragher spits at children, yet still has job. Isn't it miraculous that all the female pundits, look like models, it's almost as if they've been chosen for their looks not ability. Dagleishs daughter nepotism. The problem clubs aren't run by moral and decent people and the players aren't much better. Clubs officially oppose touting, yet don't do anything about it either. Clubs and include Everton are quite happy to use partizan vocal support to sell product but are quite happy to punish said supporters. Liverpool's selling point to tourists is their supposedly partizan support, yet they continually try get supporters banned for various infractions. A certain well known ex RS player, beat up his girlfriend and miraculously her family in Halewood moved to Hale and started going on expensive holidays, after being visited by representatives of LFC. I'm sick and tired of this virtue signalling fake morality, where clubs are quite happy to eff over fans, turn a blind eye to players bad behaviour while preaching morality.
