It's new.
My father in law bought a new in.
On the phone to me every two mins asking how to insert email, create a password, then tv asking him if it can download stuff to finish set up.
He's 84 and not well.bloody shame.

Yeah I know what you mean. The companies do not consider that not everyone is comfortable with tech/features but the majority if not all tvs now are these smart hubs with apps with tedious prolonged set ups when all a person wants to do is watch a few channels.

Ganes consoles went the same way, used to just stick a cartridge or cd in and play, now there is updates and all kinds.

By choice and careful planning I live in a small quiet town in the countryside.

A neighbour moved in, from Swindon, last year and brought the city with them. Now I might as well live in London ffs.

I can't even cut the wires for this eyesore because they've festooned the place with cctv.
