The Keane extension, while I don't like it, I can understand, providing we make the required signings in other more important positions.

Yeah to be fair I think Harrison very much became an escaped goat and is nowhere near as bad as a player as some people make him out to be, but he certainly isn't very good and even as a squad player it would be disappointing if they can't find better value elsewhere.

Id liken it a bit to like a a Mark Pembridhe type, who did a job for a low fee playing left side of midfield.

Harrison is woeful going forward, but is very positionally disciplined. I can see why coaches would like him.

As average as he is I can see the argument for some sort of squad role, but not as any kind of starter. We won't push for the European places with the Jack Harrisons of this world imo.
