Agree.

At the recent premier league meeting the clubs didn’t even bother voting on closing the “related party sale” loophole.
Apparently it was obvious that the other clubs didn’t want Chelsea to benefit and nobody else.
Looks like Villa and ourselves were next in line. I’m sure there’ll be others.
The timing is ideal for us as it helps manage the transition from GP to BMD.

Only point to note is that these type of transactions are banned by UEFA for FFP purposes.
Therefore Chelsea and Villa may have issues and receive fines from UEFA.
A far fetched theory... if these types of transactions aren't allowed by UEFA for FFP, signing Wesley now for 30m loaning to Roma then getting a profit with an obligation in two years time as rumoured, could be a nice bit of money laundering UEFA FFP wise for if we were in Europe at that point in time.

Obviously they need to still spend plenty on us now.

There’s definitely something going on if that transaction is true.
They will be all over any arbitrage opportunities but multi club ownership can bite you on the backside if you’re not careful.

Yeah, fair dues, I think that the plan probably was for him to play more but he was a bit rubbish for us.
One hell of a disappointment with him. There was lot more going on at the time granted, but maturity of attitude would seem to play a big part if we get future decisions right. A healthy dose of arrogance is fine but there wasn't something quite right there. I say it with the greatest amount of respect to Moise, that the intensity of the racism he experienced originally ovet in Italy will not have helped his psychological state either amd could actually explain most of what we saw.

Can't find the response elsewhere but almost like a crystal ball re Villa and Chelsea now officially in trouble with Uefa. Hopefully our owners have taken note.

Agreed.

We have aims to play in Europe as soon as possible so TFG should be all over this.

Villa gambled on champions league qualification by brining in players in January.

Chelsea’s model is not sustainable - only so many hotels and women’s teams they can sell!
