Liverpool fans are heartbroken & I feel for them. If it was one of our players I would be devastated too.
You've only got to go back a year or so to the passing of Super Kev and how that affected not only fans of clubs he played for but supporters right across football.
For anyone to lose their life so young, and in such tragic circumstances, will always be hard to grasp no matter who they kick a ball for.

You don’t have to agree anymore than I do with you. I’m a trained physician who strives to preserve life

We worship loss of celebrities over innocent men, women and children where it is far more abnormal if not abjectly evil

Tomorrow it’ll be some actor who passes which will be tragic but we can’t even protect innocent people from ongoing genocide.

We’ve become immune to horrific warring but lament a millionaire footballer - imbalance is putting it mildly
This is just glib virtue signalling at a time when it’s not needed. Suffering happens everywhere and every day but that doesn’t disqualify outward demonstrations of sorrow and grief for public figures who were benignly forging a great career and respected by millions around the world. Your point is so incredibly boring as to not merit posting.

I don't like that it's a bit of a media circus, should there really be dozens of camera men scrambling to get photo's of Everton players laying flowers? it doesn't sit right with me..

….its news, its communication. Without the pictures we wouldn’t know our club had represented us.

24/7 these days, I think it’s just the way of the world, have to say I don’t find this too distasteful.

I have no issue with there being photographs, maybe a Liverpool appointed photographer who takes a few pictures and makes those pictures available to whoever might want them.. A photographer free for all isn't tasteful at all.

Agree. It’s the world we live in. I don’t do FB, insta etcetera but the majority of people seem to these days and people talk about very personal aspects of their lives on there.

Good to see the club being represented and paying their respects.

Apparently not!

Mad one that.

He was one of their players I actually didn't mind even if he did score against us. The way the little fella got up for headers reminded me of Cahill.

It's still really strange to imagine he's actually gone and won't be playing against us ever again. I can only imagine what that feels like if it was one of our players.

Just shows horrible accidents don't care and can happen any time to anyone. Be good to each other.
