I dont think Beto will get the number 9 shirt. I think if Beto gets the Number 9 shirt then it will mean that we are not signing another striker and people will lose their minds.

I don’t think Beto should get the number 9 shirt. Indeed, I’m not sure anyone (even if Barry signs) we have is suited to it - or deserves it. But also, it would seem odd going into the first season in the new stadium without a given number 9.

I have to agree! I wonder if he painted himself into a corner last year turning down a move and a new contract waiting for a big pay day elsewhere and then the 24/25 season happened and he missed big chances looked decidedly average and then was injured or sub for when Everton went on a good run. It seems like Everton couldn't careless about him leaving and almost seem happy for him to go. I also wish him the best and hope he gets a new start.
