I guarantee you that snide remark was written by someone who has never even been here.
This isn't it...
See, the thing is, in this city we look after our own, and a near as can be, he was one of our own, regardless of the colour of his shirt.
They are our brothers, sisters, mums, dads, kids, wives, husbands.
They are us.
We are them.

It's what makes us different, unique.
It's what makes this city special.

We tear each other to bits over the everton/redshite thing all day, every day. Then for 180 minutes a year its no holds barred all out war, with no fks given either way.

Then after the match we go back to calling them mum, dad, son, daughter etc and loving them unconditionally.
Like I said, it's why we're unique.

Weirdos the lot of us 😊

Stephen Vaughan, ex Chester city CEO who oversaw the club get liquidated. First person to ever fail the ‘fit and proper persons’ test for club ownership.
Sounds proper dodgy :

'... a few months later, he also stood down as chairman of Chester, following a controversy in which he arranged for the club to hold a minute's silence following the death of Colin Smith, a murdered Liverpool gangster, and associate of Curtis Warren.'
