Tragic but frankly innocent lives are lost via vehicular accidents every hour around the globe and considering the dire humanitarian crisis & ongoing genocide, the imbalance on empathy for human suffering and loss is incomprehensible
Mate, it’s not about you.

Christ’s sake he was a red and we’re all devvoed about it. This does not have to be a crusade. Yes other people die, and yes they also get mourned. In this city we stand by those touched by tragedy but I don’t suppose you’d know that.

Famous people have touched more people, so more people will mourn.

Get over yourself, and say something nice or shut up.

Tomorrow is not guaranteed for anyone, we all go through life thinking where we will or want to be in x amount of years, that may never arrive.

Live each day like it’s your last.

Sad sad news that someone like like Jota and his brother who had the world at his feet is now no longer with us.

RIP X
A nice idea but if I did I’d be dead within a week.

I honestly think social media has destroyed a huge percentage of people's morals. Its the equivalent of somebody losing an arm in an accident and somebody saying "why are you sad? There's people who don't have arms". I don't know why the reaction to every bad incident has to be compared. I don't know how some people can't think paying tribute to a 28 year old with kids, means your apathetic to other issues.

Absolutely horrible and thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. And supporters of all teams he has played for - obviously been a big part of their history and narrative too.

No-one should be trying to monopolise grief over this other that his family. Poor wife... I mean that is going to take some serious help.
